Training for Operators and Trainers
BC Worker's Compensation Board regulations recommend lift truck operators be trained according to CSA Standard B335-94, which is also recognized by Alberta's OHSA.
This standard requires that operators demonstrate competency in the classroom (theory) and in a practical (hands-on) training session. Further, to remain current, operators must attend a refresher course every two years.
In addition to meeting the requirements of CSA B335-94, Arpac's Operator Training Program responds to customer needs by:
- Conveniently conducting training at your facility following a site survey to discover specific areas of concern.
- Incorporating your company's safety practices into our standard training regimen.
- Enrolling each trained operator in Arpac's refresher course reminder program.1
Arpac can also train a member of your staff to conduct your operator training in-house. To discuss your training needs, please contact us.
Slogan (place wherever it looks good and stands out on the page): Meet safety standards with proper training and improve efficiency and uptime, while reducing damage, accidents and injury.
1 While Arpac makes every effort to contact employers of operators due for a refresher program, it's ultimately the employer's responsibility to ensure operators continue to meet the requirements of CSA Standard B335-94. |
